The Tempest (formally The Friends' Ship) - Gifts with Purpose opened for business on June 17th, 2006 and it was a great success!

Store Manager Toni Huehn worked very hard all spring getting The Tempest- Gifts with Purpose ready.  She received great support from Park Staff and we thank them very much!

Volunteers have pitched in all spring, preparing shelving and displays, unpacking and pricing the beautiful items that Toni selected for the store.

The second season at The Tempest - Gifts with Purpose is winding down and Toni is pleased to report that we enjoyed two successful years.  There were certainly bumps along the way and we have all learned a lot. Now that business has slowed down, Toni will be working towards 2008.  New products will be developed and tours of the annual gift shows will provide lots of new lines for 2008.

2007 Winter Hours (until March 31) at The Friends' Ship - Gifts with Purpose are: Tuesday to Sunday 1 to 4 pm.

Our Christmas Specials of 20 to 40% off most items continues until the end of March.
